Dr. Anoop Narahari, earned his medical diploma from Siddhartha Medical College in India. He completed his internship and residency in Psychiatry at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2020, and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida in 2021. He is certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in Sleep Medicine by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Narahari holds an unrestricted medical license in Louisiana and Florida. He has memberships in the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Pittsburgh Psychiatric Society. He authored two book chapters and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to Psychiatry, Dr. Narahari also diagnoses and treats various sleep disorders, including but not limited to: sleep apnea, narcolepsy/hypersomnia, parasomnia, insomnia and restless legs syndrome.
Dr. Narahari is happily married with one son. His hobbies include traveling, listening to music, working out, and cooking. Along with English, Dr. Narahari is fluent in Telugu, the native language of Telangana, India. Dr. Narahari joined The Baton Rouge Clinic’s Psychiatry Department in July 2021, and is accepting new patients.
