As an internal medicine physician, Ashish Sachdeva, MD, has over 25 years’ experience diagnosing and treating a variety of acute and chronic health conditions. At Pinnacle Care Internal Medicine in Peoria, Arizona, Dr. Sachdeva is known for his compassionate, comprehensive care and has been listed in Top Doctors magazine for five consecutive years. He is fellowship trained in geriatric medicine and affiliates with Banner Boswell Medicine Center in Sun City, Arizona, and Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Sachdeva uses his expertise to customize care plans to ensure the highest level of care. He works closely with each patient for long-term management of conditions, like diabetes, allergies, and sleep apnea. He has previously served as an emergency room doctor and enjoys educating medical students and the public, regularly giving lectures at community centers, churches, and assisted-living facilities.
After earning his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Science – Nagpur University in Maharashtra, India, in 1988, Dr. Sachdeva completed an internship and residency in New Delhi before moving to the Republic of South Africa, where he gained experience in trauma and emergency medicine. Upon moving to the United States in 1995, Dr. Sachdeva completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, affiliated with Northwestern University.
A move to Indianapolis gave Dr. Sachdeva to complete his fellowship in geriatric medicine and work as a clinic instructor of medicine at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Later, he relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, serving as a primary care physician for five years in the surrounding rural areas, before moving with his family to Phoenix in 2006.
When not serving his patients, Dr. Sachdeva enjoys spending time with his wife and professional partner, Dr. Namita Sachdeva, and their three children. He stays active by traveling, writing, singing, and reading.
