Dr. Dale S. Adler is the Department of Medicine’s executive vice chair at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), and a specialist in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Adler received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed an internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship at BWH. Dr. Adler is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Before he returned to BWH in 2006, he was Professor and Chief of cardiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He leads the BWH Master Clinicians Program.
With clinical interests in complex coronary disease, valvular heart disease, pericardial disease, as well as diabetic heart disease and prevention, he has authored many professional educational materials, reports and peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Adler has been named one of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly.
