Dr. Arash Tirandaz is the founder of Internal Medicine Associates of Plano and previous co-founder and CEO of Plano Internal Medicine Associates. He is a board certified Internist.
He is currently not accepting any new patients!
Raised in Galveston, Texas, he attended Ball High School. His family moved to the United States in 1978, from his homeland of Iran, in order to flee religious persecution at the time of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
He did his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin [http://www.utexas.edu/]. Subsequently, he attended the University of Houston at Clear Lake where he received a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences. He then returned to Galveston to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston [http://www.utmb.edu/] for medical school and graduated in 1993. He went on to do his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He has been in private practice in Plano since 1996.
He is an active member of the Baha’i Faith in Plano.
Dr. Tirandaz lives in Plano with his wife and three children.
