Dr. Armen Dikranian is a board-certified urologist and a founding partner for Huntington Urology Specialists, located in Pasadena, California. He is the Chief of Surgery at Huntington Hospital and the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery. He has previously served as the Chair of Urology at both Huntington Hospital and Methodist Hospital of Arcadia.
Dr. Dikranian attended the University of Southern California, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in psychobiology and a minor in bioethics. He continued his educational pursuits at USC's Keck School of Medicine, where he was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Dikranian completed his two years of general surgery training and his four-year urology residency at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. During these six years, he gained extensive and comprehensive experience in the medical and surgical management of urologic diseases.
Dr. Dikranian has authored several articles and has presented his clinical research at domestic and international scientific meetings. He has a special interest in robotic surgery for cancer and reconstruction, female urology including treatment of incontinence and minimally invasive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, and in the advanced treatment for prostate enlargement.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Dikranian has been a member of the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena for over ten years. He serves on several boards, including the USC Keck School of Medicine Alumni Board and the Saint Mark's School Board. He is married to Talin Dikranian, and they have three daughters. He is an avid long-distance hiker and an overall outdoor enthusiast.
