Dr. Ellen McBride is a graduate of the University of Nevada School of Medicine and is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Though originally from Freedom, Wisconsin, Dr. McBride fell in love with Northern Nevada on a visit to the West Coast. Dr. McBride has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. She works as a team to assist in improving the mental health of our clients. Areas of interest include Eating Disorders, Maternal Mental Health, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, and Psychosis. Her most recent passion is nutritional psychiatry and our microbiome and its relationship with mood disorders and health. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of the Sierra's.
