Dr. Leibman is Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hand, wrist and elbow surgery. He earned his medical doctorate at New York University School of Medicine and completed his undergraduate degree at Union College. After medical school, he did his internship and residency at New York University's Hospital for Joint Diseases at NYU School of Medicine. He was chosen to serve as Executive Chief Resident during his final year of training. He then completed the Harvard Medical School Combined Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital.
Dr. Leibman is the hand and wrist consultant for the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Hand Surgery.
Dr. Leibman has an expertise in sports related hand, wrist and elbow injuries and has extensive experience in treating numerous professional athletes in all major sports.
Dr. Leibman has a special interest in upper extremity trauma, post traumatic reconstruction, and microsurgery, as well as caring for pediatric upper extremity disorders.
