Dr. Peter DeNoble, MD grew up in Needham, Massachusetts, and graduated with honors from Emory University in 2000. He received his medical doctorate from the University of Massachusetts in 2005, after which he completed his orthopaedic residency at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York City. He then went on to complete his upper extremity fellowship at the renowned CV Starr Hand Center at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan in 2011. During his fellowship training, he spent time in Dallas, Texas with world-renowned pediatric hand surgeons Marybeth Ezaki and Scott Oishi at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

 

Dr. Peter DeNoble is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and has added subspecialty qualification in surgery of the hand. He is the founder and President of the New Jersey Doctor-Patient Alliance, a group to advocate for patient access to care in New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He holds an academic title of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Seton Hall Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

Dr. Peter DeNoble takes pride in treating all of the conditions of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. He always prefers the simplest and most conservative treatments when possible, including physical therapy for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and rotator cuff tears. If non-operative management for your condition is unsuccessful, Dr. Peter DeNoble is highly skilled in the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques of the upper extremity, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release and arthroscopic surgeries of the wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

 

Another important aspect of Dr. Peter DeNoble’s practice is his passion for mentoring orthopaedic residents (in-training orthopaedists). He is a regular contributor to the education of the orthopaedic residents in the Seton Hall Orthopaedic Residency program at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He has published numerous original research articles in national peer-reviewed journals of the shoulder, elbow, and hand.

 

In his free time, Dr. DeNoble enjoys spending time with his two children and wife, Shagha DeNoble, MD, who is a gynecologist in Ridgewood and Wayne New Jersey. He also enjoys hiking, snowboarding, travel, and photography.
