Elizabeth Thompson Nelson, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician. She has served the Greater Beckley Community as a physician since moving to Beckley in 2009. Dr Nelson was a Hospitalist at Raleigh General Hospital as well as the Beckley VA Medical Center. In July of 2019 she started an office based practice at the Southern West Virginia Clinic. She decided to trade the intrigue of Hospitalist Medicine with the depth and endurance of office based medicine. The relationship Dr. Nelson builds with her patients has allowed her to partner with them to achieve their health goals.
