Dr. Elizabeth Verner-Cole was named one of Portland’s Top Doctors in 2017 by Portland Monthly Magazine.

 

Dr. Elizabeth Verner-Cole is originally from San Antonio, TX.  She completed her B.A. in Music at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. She then completed medical school and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School, where she was fortunate to get to work at one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. Following residency, she completed an ophthalmic pathology fellowship in Houston, followed by a two-year fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at OHSU Casey Eye Institute.
