Air Force Veteran, Dr. Jeannemarie D. Hinkle is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, having earned her B.S. from the University before receiving her M.D. from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1995. She performed her medical residency in Internal Medicine and earned a fellowship from Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. She furthered her medical education with training in Flight Medicine, completing two programs of study, first in 1996 and a second from 2002-04.
In 2004, Dr. Hinkle was honorably discharged from the Air Force and practiced Endocrinology at All Saints Clinic in Racine, Wisconsin through 2006, at which time she came to Baton Rouge to join The Baton Rouge Clinic.
Dr. Hinkle is board certified in Endocrinology and a former Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. She is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She is a member of the Capital Area Medical Society, a Preceptor with the Tulane/Baton Rouge General Residency Program, and a former member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Active with St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, Dr. Jeannemarie D. Hinkle is joined at The Baton Rouge Clinic with her husband Dr. Robert Hinkle, and together they have three children. Dr. Hinkle enjoys cooking as a hobby. She is a native of St. Louis, Missouri.
