Board-certified Urologist John E. Bertini, Jr., MD, FACS, brings more than 30 years of experience to Gulf Coast Urology, located in Houston and Nassau Bay, Texas, serving patients throughout Harris County.
Dr. Bertini began his professional pursuits at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Before entering private practice, he completed a urology residency there.

There, he holds a faculty position in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology. Dr. Bertini also holds two medical leadership positions: one on a large multi-specialty independent practice association and the other on a hospital’s board of directors.
Outside of his career interests, Dr. Bertini is passionate about giving back to the community. He holds a leadership position on two local non-profit boards, one dealing with women’s artist initiatives and the other with rail transportation.
