Dr. Schlessel earned his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio and completed his rheumatology fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1992. After working in a multi-specialty group near Philadelphia for 6 years he joined the Columbus Arthritis Center in 1998.
As president of the Columbus Arthritis Center, Dr. Schlessel is grateful for the opportunity to care for patients in one of the largest, and what he considers to be the best, single specialty rheumatology group in the country. He is privileged to be able to utilize his years of education, knowledge and experience to improve the lives of his patients.
