Dr. Lauren C. Bar-Lev graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Michigan. She received her medical degree from The University of Michigan Medical School, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a board-certified pediatrician. Through her affiliation with Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dr. Bar-Lev is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the OSU College of Medicine. Dr. Bar-Lev previously served as a member of the board of directors of Children’s Practicing Pediatricians and on the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is a member of the Central Ohio Pediatric Society. Dr. Bar-Lev is married to Rabbi Benjy Bar-Lev who is the Senior Rabbi at Temple Beth Shalom in New Albany. She has been a board member of National Council of Jewish Women - Columbus Section and Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus. She is an active PTO volunteer in the New Albany Schools and has served as PTO president. Dr. Bar-Lev enjoys running and has completed five half marathons. She and her husband have four children, Samantha, born in May 2013, Jacob, born in June 2015, and twin boys, Asher and Noah, born in March 2018.
