Dr. Luong was raised in San Jose, California. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of California Riverside. He later received a scholarship and obtained his medical doctor degree from St. Matthew's University in the Grand Cayman Islands. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Mclaren Regional Medical Center--Michigan State University, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Luong also completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Faculty Development. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, Arizona Geriatrics Society, and American Geriatric Society.

 

His interests include musculoskeletal conditions, cardiac health, minor surgical procedures, and healthy living. He is also fluent in English, Vietnamese, and has working knowledge in Spanish. He has 3 children, Kalina, Ryan and Andrew. His hobbies include technological gadgets, baseball, and hiking.
