Dr. Stephen Glatz is a specialist in general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and endoscopy. Dr. Glatz also incorporates Robotic assisted surgery in select cases. Dr. Glatz is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton, Dr. Glatz received his medical degree from West Virginia University. He completed general surgery residency at the University of Louisville in 2007, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Glatz served as a faculty member at the University of Louisville Department of Surgery prior to joining Columbus Surgical Associates in 2008. He currently practices at Dublin Methodist Hospital, and Dublin Surgery Center. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Glatz also serves on hospital leadership committees at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Glatz is a member of the American Medical Association, and he serves a member of the teaching faculty of surgeons at Doctors Hospital. He has received several patient satisfaction recognitions at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Glatz's practice is dedicated to treating a broad spectrum of general surgical conditions. He has special interests in surgery of the gastrointestinal system and minimally invasive procedures. He has performed countless laparoscopic procedures for hernia repair, colon cancer, and gallbladder diseases. He is also trained in the performance of gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr. Glatz lives in Dublin with his wife and two children.
Dr. Glatz has completed specialized Training & Proctoring Program on the LINX Reflux Management System for GERD.
