Dr. Estrada is a board certified Allergy and Asthma Specialist, who is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Estrada and Dr. Cohen have been friends for the past 25 years and trained together as post-doctoral fellows at the University of Kansas and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City in the specialty of allergy, asthma and immunology.
 
Dr. Estrada has been practicing in San Antonio, Texas since graduation and is a well-respected member of the medical community there. Aside from all of his accomplishments, publications, and certifications, Dr. Estrada is a kind, caring, and thoughtful physician. Along with our excellent nurse practitioner, we will be able to continue with our philosophy of providing timely but unhurried medical care to you and your family.
 
Allergists and clinical immunologists are physicians who have completed a post doctoral training process including three years of training in internal medicine or pediatrics, followed by two years of special training in allergy, asthma, and immunology. Since a trained allergist/clinical immunologist is also an internist or pediatrician, he or she has the capabilities of a primary care physician and can effectively manage the comprehensive needs of patients
