Yvonne H Ting, MD graduated from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges with a degree in biochemistry and received her MD from University of Massachusetts Medical School with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, Washington. Following residency, she worked for a community health center in Washington DC before moving to Delaware with her husband. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Ting has been working at Christiana Care since 2002. She enjoys taking care of patients and families from newborns to senior citizens and guiding them to improve their own health. In addition to seeing patients, she precepts medical students from Sidney Kimmel Medical College. She has been a Primary Care Clinical Leader and Medical Director of the Health Care Center at MAP2 practice since 2012. In 2019, she will be opening the new Christiana Care practice in Pike Creek.
In her free time, she likes reading, tennis, cooking, and watching her two children in their numerous athletic activities.
